The normal person wouldnt know whether or not that fight was legit. People in the know, or at least around that area and inside the crew would know.

The fight was a work to show "the boxing public" that Carlo was "for real." Then Stacy fed Carlo to JD, which of course Carlo laid down. Stacy is all about $$$, he doesn't care who he puts at risk or who's soul he has to sell, he just wants to get paid.
