Martinez won't be easy for Penalosa.

The Panamanian has only been stopped twice: by Freddie Norwood (TKO2) and Cruz Carbajal (TKO9). He has lost only to fighters with some amount of fame, the last being Rathanachai Sor Vorapin who eked out an MD. The others are Genaro Garcia and Hector Acero Sanchez (2x).

Martinez has shown heart in several instances, among them, when facing Lester Fuentes back in 2000 in England; he survived three KD's in the first 4 rounds to win by TKO in the 5th. And, against Carlos Rivas two years ago, he picked himself up from a first round KD, to KO Rivas two rounds later.
