Does Israel Vazquez have a similar style of J.C. Chavez?

Someone mention this to me and it kind of got me thinking....IMO I could see the similarities, but to some degree...I think they are different. I'm curious on what you guys think? Do they have a similar style?

Maybe the "old" Barrera. But the new Barrera, I don't think so...

Only Jose Luis Castillo and thats because he was Chavez's protege.

Ah, ya....that probably a better example of someone who resembles chavez. Well, I still think "at times" Vazquez reminds me of Chavez. But overall, I guess not...

I aggree Castillo has a bit of Chavez style, except Chavez had more skills and was way more polished then Castillo.

Also now that i think about it, the Old Barrera, you can see his killer left hook to the body has resemblance to Chavez.

Old Barrera used to be baddass with his left hook to the body, he would win many fights in that many. He use to put a lot of power behind that punch and threw it almost, if not perfect.

Ya, I was thinking the samething. That left hook was vicious...But "new" Barrera is a whole different story haha. Still good, but just a different style.

Still great yes, but just not the same Barrera that i remember.

And to be honest, I don't think i've seen enough of Vasquez to really get a good view of his fighting style.
