I know this fight will not really happen, but I still want to know the general consensus. I am a fan of both although Trinidad ranks higher in my all time favorite list. Still, that does not make a difference. I say that Calzaghe either wins a lopsided, Lacy style points win or gets a late TKO. Calzaghe has every advantage over Trinidad besides experience in battles of attrition. Thoughts?

This is ******. Trinidad is a blown-up welterweight who has never looked very good at middleweight.. and now he wants to fight not just a super-middleweight, but the best super-middleweight of the last 10 years by miles, not just a super-middleweight but a guy who walks around at 200+, I mean, it's just silly. It's a lose-lose situation for Calzaghe and waste of time, because Trinidad has been shutout by Hopkins and Wright already. -
