One fight? lol manfredo clearly beat overrated mora in the rematch, manfredo destroy old pemb and then manfredo easily shut the mouth of undefeated spina. Calazghe only big win was beating a 1 demensional lacy. Manfredo is not 1 demensional not even close. Manfredo style can trouble cal in a huge way.

The move up in weight and Freddie Roach have really improved Peter.
He is actully a contender, and the real deal. He can give any fighter at 168 pounds trouble.

i agree with this post, except for that part "in a huge way". i wouldnt say "huge" but calzone would not have an easy time with manfredo.

True the huge way part was a bit overboard but i feel with manfredo slick style he can frusterate calazghe.

Entertaining fight. But I didn't like all the extra **** after the fight with Manfredo trying to jump in Spina's face (and Manfredo's dad, too).

I don't know. I don't really like the Contender guys and all the extra hype and bull**** press they get when real fighters are breaking their necks for an ounce of attention. But that's the game.

If he does fight Jones, it'll be the first time I root for Roy in a fight in a long time.

Spina deserves to be taunted like that after the stoppage. He started by making that fight personal. He was talking alot of garbage saying alot of bad personal things about manfredo, his father and manfredos wife. manfredo definitely outclassed spina. but thats not saying much.maybe because i didnt get into the contenders bull but manfredo i dont see hanging with any of the top guys at super yet.

Can you explain what makes that different than any other fight when one guy makes it "personal"? Did Oscar go after Ricardo or Fernando?
