I expected big things from this fight and thought it was a big let down.I totally understand the stoppage and the reasons why Hobson couldn't continue, but with Nelson pulling out of the show it was an unexpected lucky break for Hobson even though i couldn't see him winning. This was Hobson's last big chance imo. and he wont get another at this level.Comment

My boy Enzo did good tonight. Actually looked for the shot instead of just swinging for the stands. Strange punch to win but sometimes it's them shots which get you. I've been saying for years that this boy has the ability to make it to the top, and the biggest shot in the division. But then I'm biased.
As for JC - styles make fights. And a dirty counterpuncher who leads with his head isn't going to make anyone look good. mcGuigan was right - Bika could and possible should have been DQ'd by the 6th round. And he proved he was hardly the handpicked opponent some thought he was. Still, a bit of a stinker for Joe, even though he clearly won ... I had it 8-2 with 2 drawn rounds, which is just about consistent with the judges. Luckily it won't stop him getting the big fights, and ironically might actually help as he looked a far cry from the boxing god he was 7 months ago.Comment

Still think David Haye has a bigger punch, but Maccarinelli is probably better conditioned. Maccarinelli looked very impressive though, certainly has massive power. My boy Enzo did good tonight. It would be an explosive fight. If I were Haye I'd continue down the WBC route and get a crack at Bell/Mormeck. Either of who he could end up blasting out, though could equally get Thompson'd by either of them.
All credit to ENzo for now though, he has a title and looks destined for bright things.Comment
