Kessler vs Beyer ROUND BY ROUND Coverage

I've watched the fight on German TV and even before the fight started it never looked like Beyer would believe he had a chance.
Beyer boxed very cautious, his age has definitly cost him some speed, he never managed to get any serious counter-punches through. Kessler was the quicker, the taller and the stronger man. I was surprised that the KO came so early, but than again I felt like Beyer was really happy to have a good excuse to get out of their.
It wasn't like he was knocked out cold. A left jab to the chin set him up for a straight right that caught him flush. Beyer went down hard but he could've easily gotten up at 5 if he wanted to. Instead he opted to let referee count him out and then stand up. I'm sure that Beyer had just seen enough.Comment
