Nigel Benn...the dark destroyer..every fight was do or die...the most exciting fighter ever.

Benn could have a war with Joe Bloggs off the street! He did it with the fat Welsh guy in the ABA semi, Mortimer, almost got himself stopped in the first 20 seconds because he just came out swinging hooks from all angles and let himself wide open to be tagged.. but kept swinging and ended up taking the guy out in the next 10-15 seconds or so.

Even domestic level fighters Benn would have all-out wars with, was great! Look at Kid Milo, great scrap. Lou Gent.. Johnny Melfah in the ABA final. Great stuff, what a scrapper, Nige was. Top-level, exactly the same - Watson, Eubank, Barkley, McClellan, the same scraps he had with Kid Milo and so on!
