  • Nazario Says; "No Problems" with Pacquiao

Ring Magazine featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao’s business manager Rod Nazario told Viva Sports/Manila Standard that there was “no problem” with Pacquiao, following an overseas telephone conversation with the champion in his hometown of General Santos City in southern Philippines.

Nazario who was visibly upset over reports which claimed Pacquiao had fired promoter Murad Muhammad and was now a free agent said he discussed Pacquiao’s planned December 4 fight with WBO Intercontinental champion Gairy St. Clair of Australia as well as future fights which includes the February rematch with WBA/IBF champion Juan Manuel Marquez which was arranged by Murad Muhammad with Bob Arum of Top Rank who handles Marquez and HBO.

In a press release issued by PacMan's website yesterday 8 Oct., Murad allegedly was fired and Pacquiao has declared himself as a free agent. Now comes this report by boxingscene, so what's the real situation? It's so confusing. Just asking. peace.

Well understandably Nazario and Murad will be denying and try to cover up any problem or trouble within Manny Pacquiao's camp to protect their interest. We all know that their contracts are due to expire and they don't want to burn the bridge, the only way for them to get renewed by Pacquiao.

Nazario claiming no problem? The mere fact that Manny secretly went back home without him or anybody else knowing it except his wife . . . simply proves there is a problem.
