Wonder why Miranda was moved ahead of Abraham in the middleweight rankings.... hmmmmmmm
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...dan&id=2622627
I think that the big fat one on Miranda's record has scarred you for life. Do you ever make threads on subjects other than miranda??? get over it, miranda will get his chance to avenge the loss (and yes, it was a loss) when ever they have the rematch, But i'm backing Abrham by wide UD or late stoppage.Comment

i still dont see why miranda couldnt KO a guy in 7 rounds with a broken jaw with all the power that he hasComment

You're some kind of piss-taking bastard, you are. I'm trying to have a serious discussion here and you're just mocking the guy.
That's it, I'm off, I'm not putting up with this any more. Though I eagerly await "why Abraham fans can't see the objective truth, like what I can: part 365478"
He has been going on for far too long now, i respect the fact that he has a different opinion, but the guy acts like his is the only one that counts, and that the only people who think that Abraham won are the "euro nuthuggers"

i agree with rafael's disdain for the toney/peter rematch. i, however, totally disagree with peter being ranked above liakhovich or maskaev. sam is not even a damn title holder yet he gets nearly the highest ranking from dan on his "impeccable" list.
i don't like lopez being ranked higher than chi, but i could give him the benefit because lopez has a title holder and taking into account chi's last loss. i guess i just a bit of a fan of injin.
i mostly agree with his rankings of junior lightweights, so not much of an arguement there.
i haven't looked through all of his lists, but i haven't seen too much bull**** on the rankings other than what i mentioned above.
now, having said that, dan rafael is a moron when it comes to his opinions on boxers and boxing. if you have ever had the displeasure of hearing him speak, and his reasoning, than you already know this. the best he can do is cast flimsy, unsupported observations that are no different than any other armchair critic on the internet or otherwise. he, and max kellerman, are two very good reasons why i think people who frequently write or publically speak/comment on boxing should at least have some formal boxing training or something similiar under their belts.Last edited by j; 10-13-2006, 10:47 PM.Comment

ESPN is the worst boxing site on the web. Their rankings mean nothing.
The pages are updated maybe once a week. I used to post there, then some idiot changed the whole forum and everyone left. And you have to pay to read most of their articles.Comment

EXACTLY. It's all this "I am right, if you disagree with my opinion, you don't know boxing" crap, followed by some racial ("it's not racial, it's nationalism") slurs. Oh, and some childish "nuthugger" slurs. I imagine if you went round Pantera's house for tea he'd tie you in a chair and hold you at gunpoint until you agreed with him. And that could last several months.
As for Dan Rafael, he's the guy that said Calvin Brock was the future of heavyweight boxing (Rahman-Toney promos), am I right? That's Dan "I could pull more women than him without even trying" Rafael?Comment
