    ricardo torres 29-1-0 27ko,s

do any off you guys rate ricardo torres or am i out of my mind?

i think he would have shot beating anybody at 140 after the cotto fight,it was a brutal war and cotto did him away via 7th round ko but both of them had been put or there ass he is fighting undefeated mike arnaoutis who has a record of 17-0-2 9ko,s hopefully he will beat him then get another shot at a world title.

and for every one that missed the fight against cotto hears a link to it.

Hes a dangerous puncher because he has quick hands. Its yet to be seen though, what kind of fighter he will really be.Theres been plenty,PLENTY of big punchers that didnt amount to much.Randall bailey comes to mind... So theres no use in getting too worked up about him yet.

Besides,Mike Arnoutis is a very dangerous opponent for him.Im picking mike in the fight actually, hes shown more skill, and Ive seen more of his fights so I have more to judge by.Hes also definetly beat better competition.

great matchup though, and if Torres does win(in UNcontroversial manner) I'll be a believer ( )

Torres fough his first fight in US against Cotto. As well as it was a replacment so he got it in a short notice because Branco coupld fight that night.

But its good thing he took the fight even if its a loss because then he would be faster in Americia than if he would have stayed and build an undeafted rep in Coloumbia

torres is a proven deadly puncher by being able to hurt cotto several times in their fight and even knocking cotto down... plus, given the fact that torres was a late sub for the then injured gianluca branco... imagine what torres could have done if he is really conditioned to fight cotto...

That goes both ways...cotto trained for a completely diffrent fighter than Torres.

i really think he could beat some good well known and even great fighters at 140 such as lazacano, ben rebah, and i think he would take maussa by easy ko because he hits as hard as maybe even harder than cotto and cotto ko,d him easy and i would love to see him fight paulie malinaggi

That loss to Cotto was probably the best thing that could have happened to Torres. Let me explain. He took that fight on short notice and almost pulled it off. He can learn from this and use this loss as motivation.
