he started his career at 105, he weighed in at 129.5 in his last fight. so hes put on about 25lbs and jumped up 7 weight classes since he turned pro.
so, ur accusation of him "not wanting to jump up and take on a big challenge" is pretty much bull**** after hes moved up 7 weight classes since turning pro.
hopkins is ready to jump up 2 HW.... the way you guys talk about him is that hes the best fighter in the sport right now... so have him take on diaz have him take on casa... if he beats them ill tip my hat untill then he'll b a top 10 fighter in my book

I think he is, people say he's in the top 5 ppp list(atleast his groupies on this site), am I right? Well if you receive a good fight at a different class you have to have the courage to move up and take it ESP if your in the top 5 ppp, people who I consider the top 5 Floyd winky Hopkins and MAB would move up for a big fight no questions asked... I mean i see a lot of hating on Floyd but he was even ready to go up and fight Winky, a fight this i think would b a nightmare 4 him. I'm saying if some up and comer like Juan Diaz or **** even Casamayor offered Pac a fight for a title I honestly don't think he would take it, I don't even think he would fight Guzman who's in HIS OWN DIVISION. it seems like he wants to fight a bunch of older fighters then retire after 5 or more fights trying to fool the fans that's he's Ali (way better than he is) like the article I read
he doesn't want to take a risk or challenge
pacman groupies
GET MAD

if he move up to 135 and be successful in that category, i think he'd be the first filipino to do that since all the filipino fighters i know who fought & started at a 130 pound limit and below and moved up, didn't make it good there (that includes the great flash elorde - i think he fought in at 135 and lost).Comment

****** thread. Right now, the biggest fights are at 130. Who is left at 135? Corrales and Castillo have moved up. Freitas just retired. That leaves Casamayor and Diaz. Wow.. let's move up and fight those guys, instead of fighting Barrera, Morales and co.!
One thing I must point out: Manny was fighting at 112, but he drained himself a lot to fight at those low classes, I think his natural class is 122-6. Nonetheless, he has moved alot.
And besides, since when does weight hopping determine P4P lists? Pac is top 3 P4P right now, hands down, I have him second behind Floyd. Look at Hopkins who was P4P #1 was a fair while, he fought at 160 the entire time. Hagler and Monzon are high on P4P lists, they never left 160. There are many many examples.Comment
