I don't know if its sacred grounds. But theirs a lot of places like that in Mexico and accross South America.

The ****ed up thing is a few years ago or more, they built a Wal-Mart in Mexico City and they had to tear down some sacred ground like the one in the video. Also it is said, that when they built a temple or as the one in the video, underneath they put a lot of gold for the gods or somthing like.

Theirs a ton of history in Mexico.

Mexico also has many various fourms of the Nahuatel language.

Where im from theirs this place called La Colonia. Well a lot of Mexican immigrants live their. As a kid, when i would go to this place with my mom, i notice other Mexicans talking to each other, but i couldn't understand what the hell they were saying. I would ask my mom and she would say their Indians from Mexico, as a kid I still couldn't make sense of it.

But even today, you can still go to La Colonia and find a few people from that area from the indigenous parts of Mexico and they speak the Nahuatel language.

english is mostly the medium of teaching in school while being complemented by tagalog. as Tom mentioned, spanish subjects were dropped already, no one seems too keen on learning it. all the books are in english, only the filipino subjects are not obviously. so even if you didn't reach high school, for sure you'll be able to speak english.
