His chin is solid, and gets acclimated to power well over the long run, but that was against semi-powerful light middleweights.
Maybe not an iron chin, but he took some shots from Rubio, who's a heavier puncher than Taylor IMO, got up and dominated Rubio after that. Something like Quintana against Julio.
I think he'll be able to take Taylor's shots and keep throwing a lot.

I don't think anyone is underestimating Ouma. I think you're underestimating Taylor. Taylor is a lot better than he's shown so far considering he just fought and arguably beat the #1 guy in the sport (twice), followed by the #2 guy.

Taylor is much more powerful than Rubio, and Ouma never took a flush shot from Rubio, the punch thrown hit him in his throat.

Lacy looks humbled. Hopefully the fire will still be there.

Its not that im underestimating him, I think hes an excellent light middle, but were talking about Jermian Taylor here, a strong, young guy who keeps improving every fight.

I think it will be one of 2 things.
He was brought down to earth, realized hes not unbeatable and will train hard for every fight and give it his all, or he will have very little confidence and never be the same again.

He will be competitive, but Ike v Winky has boring decison written all over it imo.

Ouma will surprise everyone. Sure winky has defense but he had hima gainst the ropes almost the fight and isnt known for his power. ouma will apply constant pressure and win a SD.
