Alright, "El Pollo" can keep his name as long as he keeps the winning tradition alive and Lopez, i'll make sure to catch his next fight ans see how he looks from the previous time i've seen him fight.

I dunno..I was high on 'El Gato' but his last fight against Cuevas was not impressive at all. He needs to be impressive in his next fight out against a quality opponent.
On a side note, did you know he is one of the 2 boxers in the Friday Night Fights intro?

Hey what up phantasm your right about that fight i really didnt look impressive against cuevas. That fight was more of a guts and glory fight like let's stand toe to toe and throw to someone goes down that was ****** of me to do. I won that fight but I was feeling the aftermath never ever will I fight at 145 again I did it before and lost. Hey I fought last saturday on the undercard of klitscko against joey rios 14-0 6 ko's and that was a great fight I was using my angle, head movement ,speed and foot movement if you see it or if you was there you would of been impressed I was able to do 10 rds without even feeling a lick of tiredness it was awesome feeling I trained super hard for that fight and that was a quality opp.

"El Pollo" of Puerto Rico, took "El Pollo" nickname from "El Pollo" from Mexico, wtf...
god forbid someone who speaks the spanish language take the nickname "EL POLLO" As if the term was exclusively deemed for mexican dialect only

            Hey Gato,
Actually, I havent seen the fight yet, but I have it waiting on dvd at home when I get back in town. But from everything I've read, it was an impressive victory over a guy that I had ranked high on my prospects list. So you have restored my faith!
I admit, after you wrote about you having to go toe to toe with Cuevas, I remembered watching the fight that night noticing how you seemed to be a step slower than usual and wondering why you werent using your speed and trying to slug it out with him. I thought you were trying to make a statement and put him away impressively and it backfired. I now know what was going on and plan on watching my tape of the fight again when I get home. Thanks for clarifying it to us fans and yes...
'El Gato' IS one of our people's BEST prospects!
I stand corrected. Big ups to you and look forward to seeing you do bigger and better things very soon!
