You could never count him out, he hit harder and faster than Lacy, and even though he had a lesser chin, he was dangerous at anytime as long as he was on his feet.
You don't want to mention Lacy in the same breath as the Dark Destroyer.

Eubank had the ability to land career ending right hands when he needed to.

Nigel Benn wishes he had Lacy's body style, though.
Lacy is shaped like a Tyson. Benn always wishes he had that body.

I was just comparing him to Calzaghe's best performance, and if it were Nigel in the ring he would have proved to be alot more of a problem than Lacy, and when he wanted, he could box, but that wouldn't be the way for him to approach Joe, it would be best to take him head on.

Benn would have to draw Calzaghe in, roll and counter with power shots. If he went head on he'd be hurt early and often, and taken out soon enough. Very difficult for me to see any come-forward fighter going at Calzaghe and coming out on top - he just picks them off with fast combinations and loves it.

Benn didn't have the ability to counter Calzaghe I don't think, yeah Benn would get hurt by coming forward, but he was too keen for a war to counter, he could have caught Calzaghe with his right hook, that would be his key punch to a fight with Calzaghe I reckon, but that's if he managed to stay on his feet.

RJJ Calzaghe would have been a PICK' EM
And I am sure a PRIME Eubank would have had Calzaghe down and out..

I have to go with Roy Jones Jr. on this one...it seems people forget how good this guy was in his prime.

People are getting to hyped about Joe's win over Lacy...What turned me off to Joe was his failure to impress me before this win...though, I only saw a few, the fights that were on Showtime and some on the internet...good fighter, but is becoming way overrated.

IF Joe thought he could have beaten Roy, he would of came to the U.S.A., and fought at Light-Heavyweight.

I remember when people did the same with Hopkins when he beat Tito

Benn didn't have the ability? Hmm, I think he did.
