    Chico is Underrated!

Im seeing alot of people diss Chico on here and I cant understand why. Dude has fought everyone and is a elite fighter. He is much better right now then alot of people think. I could definatly see him beating Margartio at 147 but I would rather him have a tuneup first.

People say that Chico isnt as good as he was a few years ago but thats garbage. Dude just lost to a Castillo who was big as a house and then he just lost to Casamayor because he was so drained. You could tell he had nothing in that fight and I think he still almost one. He was weak and trying to pace himself.

If Chico fought at 147 in his next fight then I guarantee you he would look really good. People always talk bad about his chin but I have always totally disagreed with that. He doesnt have a weak chin at all if you ask me. Someone said that if Floyd & Casamayor can drop him then you know Margarito will kill him. Thats for guys who dont know boxing.

People act like Floyd and Joel just hit him with a punch and he crumbles. Thats not true at all. Floyd's speed dropped Chico all those times. He didnt even hit him hard most of the time. It was his speed and the fact that he couldnt see alot of them coming. The same with Casamayor. Most of the time they are just blind punches. Freitas is a huge puncher and he never hurt Chico. The only time he hurt Chico was with his speed but his straight up power never hurt Chico.

People always forget the fact that Chico is drawn. People diss him by saying that he doesnt belong down there and he would get killed by bigger guys but you forget the fact that he is also losing out on his chin and other things by being down there. At 147 he will be completely filled out and look great, just like Hopkins did at 175.

Also if anyone thinks that Chico wont carry his power at 147 then they are smoking. You can look right at him and tell that he's in the mold of a Hearns & Trinidad. Long guys who have alot of power who can carry it at any weight. He will KO just as many guys at 147 then he did at the lower weights.

I just think that alot of people on here act like they dont have eyes anymore and cant see when a guy is different. RJ was different with all weight loss and I dont think the Tarver wins were real, Tarver was different with all the weight loss & I dont think the Hopkins win was real, now Chico was different with his struggle to lose weight and I dont think the Casamayor win was real. Anyone can see that all 3 of those guys were much slower, had no energy, tried to pace themselves, and were just half dead fighters.

I dont at all recommend Chico fighting Margarito in his 1st fight but I wouldnt be shocked at all to see him KO Margarito. I would still put any money in the world right now with Chico over Cotto, Hatton, and Gatti. I bet anything he looks like a monster in his next fight and if anyone thinks Margarito willl just run straight through him then there crazy. You talk about Chico getting hit but Margarito will get hit with power & speed that he's never been hit with before. He will come in swingin all that wild looping **** and Chico will hit him with so much power in those quick short punches. Im telling all you that Chico can Knock him out and he may do it quick if he gets him right. You guys are forgetting that those guys at 147 wont have the speed, quickness, and ability to move like those little guys. Chico wont have to chase anyone and they wont be hard for him to hit. He will land alot of clean shots at 147 and guys will be hurt, bad

You know I have to say that I respect tyhe dude more now than I ever did. I listened to the comments he made pre fight when he was being asked about being critical of Castillo about not making weight and not letting anyone know sooner than the day of the fight. He was asked if he felt hypocritical. The dud took full responsibiliy and admitted he was wrong. That takes a man to admit he was wrong. He didn't back away from one of those questions and he took the criticism and admitted his fault. Say what you want about the dude but he is a man and I have nothing but respect for this guy now. I will admit I rooted for Castillo, but you can't not like this guy. Especially when he continued with the fight. After all the fines the dude was pretty much fighting for free, but he said he made a commitment to fight and stuck by it. How n=many guys do you know would go on with a fight for nothing and after being stripped of his title. Say what you want, but you can't dislike or not respect this guy. I wasn't the biggest Chico fan before this but now I am a huge fan. One of the few good guys in boxing thats for sure.
