I think that remains to be seen.......he may have it he just has not been put in many situation where he has had to show it yet.He did do well in getting up after being KD by McCline to win handily.I am not saying that weighs to heavily being against McCline but it was a start. We will see what he is made of soon thats forsure.

Yeah joey, good point. At least the guys in the 80's were skilled and talented. These guys aren't even that talented in many cases, such as Barrett and Brock. They are just decently skilled big men, and even in the case of Barrett he could do a lot more with what he has. He could really refine his technique more than he has. I mean, who the hell is training these guys?

With the exception of an in shape, motivated Toney and perhaps Sergei and Brewster (that remains to be seen) none of these guys could even hang in say the 1970's or 1990's. They would be lucky to crack the top ten at all in these eras.

No, i don't believe he can, but i hope someone puts him into retirement, that may not sound like a nice thing to say, but i'm sick of these hardcore fans sucking his ****, and that goes for other hardcore fans of other fighters, theres no rational debate with them.

Maybe I'm too hard on Brock, I am just su****ious of all of these heavyweights. Even my man Peter let me down in the shape he came in against Toney, and Wlad is one punch away from having to go on another "comeback trail". Sergei is the one guy who displayed championship qualities to me in the toughness and power he showed against Brewster. That was a very impressive performance against the best American heavyweight in the world.

As for Rahman, I was a big fan of his when he knocked out Lewis but he's come up short ever since. The guy has a killer punch but doesn't use it.

I don't know what else to say, each and every one of them is a huge waste in their own ways.

the author states that brock has a sturdy chin. I have to question that considering he's never faced a big puncher yet. his chin is still untested and he was down and hurt against mediocre punching jameel mcline. he did get up and show heart by dominating the rest of the fight,,,but we wont know about his chin until after his fight with wlad

never know with wlad but I get the feeling that brock is just not big enough and may crumble to the size and power of wlad. we'll see. if he can take some shots and get inside he could wear wlad down and take him out out ala brewster style but I have my doubts on this. I say wlad inside of 6 rounds

I think he's a more complete fighter than brewster and has better stamina then sanders but he lacks the punching power of these guys and that could be his downfall against wlad

Punching power and, as you said, possibly chin. Getting floored by McCline is not a good sign. Despite his size, the guy doesn't hit as hard as even say Ruiz IMO.

I think he will get taken out in 5-6 rounds. I just don't think he has Brewster's chin and grit (not many do) to weather that kind of storm. He definitely has heart and skill, but will it be enough? I just don't think so.

there also isnt much rational reason for a luan krasniqi avatar either.

the guy refused a title eliminator againt thompson for no good reason.

I am a Harddcore Klitschko fan.. And you can rationaly debate with me all you want.. The man is flawed.. although i disagree with the opoular notion his chin is weak..But his heart has been questionable as well as his mental fortitude.. But he is pure offensive brilliance.. As for Brock.. I seriously doubt he has a prayer.. but like I mention in Wlads flaws.. everyone has chance and that makes his fights so exciting
