This is the thing with mayweather..... He claims to be the best p4p in the world, furthermore he claims to be the best at 147. And that he dominated 140. etc. He says he wants to be known as the best fighter that ever lived. But thats all he's done for a long long time is talk.

He hasnt done anything since castillo. When Mayweather talked about moving to 147 and actually moved to 147, Margarito was the man to beat at 147. Everyone was ducking him, u cant be undisputed at 147 without beating the best. Spinks ducked him like the plague, as did Judah, and now Mayweather. There is no denying this.

Actually Judah was the man to beat when Floyd moved to 147. That was one of the reason he moved up. He wanted to fight Judah since they had a falling out and Judah was considered by ALL one of the best fighters in the world and "the man" at 147. He then lost to Baldomir. Judah was still considered by many to be the best at 147 and that he only had a terrible night. Floyd went through with the fight and is now fighting the man who beat "the man". Margarito was a no-name just like Baldomir. Only difference is that Baldy beat a couple well known guys. Margarito had the chance to take a step in that direction by fighting Williams (who's had a couple TV fights and gotten good recognition), but instead chose to fight Clottey. Do you really think that Margarito is a better fight for Floyd than DLH, Mosley, Hatton, Spinks? (all proven, all big names)

It's sad that margarito that has fought as a welterweight for so long and it's still not a legit true welterweight champion lol sad so sad.
