i think he's doing good considering he never had an amature carreer. they need to drop all the hype though. he's got some power but they need to give him some better comp to develop it. i say give him another 3 years and he'll be ready.

i havent seen him fight,he had NO amateur career?so he jus jumped straight in the ring with the pros?

Yeh i got some of his fights,hes gettin much better,using the left hook to the body now,and thats whats getting him all his wins,hes been KO'ing all of his new opponents

Yea he's got potential I've seen a few of his fights... He needs to step up in competition to judge more properly, what is like 19 or 20 I think? I might be wrong but I know he's a very young profesional.

Hes pretty good, but he may collapse with all the damn pressure on him.

Kid seems strong and resiliant.... carries pretty good pop too. He is still very green though he still got some years till he fights a champ.

His kid brother, Omar Chavez though just turned pro in Mexico (16 years old i believe).... he shows a lot of promise maybe even more than jr, good movement, good technique, etc.

He did have a good amateur career so he has valuable experience.
