Maybe he will fly after all .....

Calzaghe and Maccarinelli to fight over in the US in February if terms are agreed (and both successful on Saturday night). Somebody must be offering some serious cash to get JC to move from his dad's shed and risking one of those dodgy decisions the US is famous for

No news of any potential opponents though. Kessler maybe? The only way that one would come off is in neutral territory.

I would really like to see Mikkel Kessler fight, I stumble on a lot of articles about him from time to time and many journalist and anylist claim that he's a near perfect fighter. That he has a rock solid chin, good handspeed subtle defense, heavy hands, and great stamina. Kessler proposed a match against Jeff Lacy, but 'Left Hook' declined because he wanted Joe Calzaghe, of course everyone knows what happened there. Anyway, I think 'The Italian Dragon' should give 'The Viking Warrior' a shot in the future. Maybe in the U.S. that would be nice!

The thing is, Calzaghe is probably better than Kessler in all the areas you mentioned.

Probably be a very intriguing fight. Definately a true super fight if it comes off.

Enzo Maccarinelli is very heavy-handed, the American's might like him because he produces heavy KD's. Him and David Haye would make for a bombastic clash.

£1.5m sounds a lot more realistic than your £50k fairytale. I think I'll go with Warren on this one, thanks.

Your boy is pretty limited from what I've seen so he should be right up Calzaghe's alley, don't you think?

Why would Warren even bother offering £50k when there's no way Kessler would take it? The answer is - he wouldn't, it's just a waste of his time.

I've seen 3 of his fights. He stands off too much, he's not particularly quick and there's not a lot of variation in his work. Joe would school him.

Love is blind, hey? He looks strong and his punches are fairly compact, I'll give him that. Calzaghe would beat him to the punch all night though.
