can you have you first fight in a tournament?

i hope to have my first couple fights in the same week, becuase i started boxing when i was 12 now i am almost 15 and no fights , anyway i have sparred people alot bigger and stronger and done good with them. my fighting weight is around 160 lbs. i would think, hoping to fight in ringside 2007 world championships, what do you guys think? Iceman? Rockin? Geoff?

i belong to a gym, have not been there for a while though, but still keeping in shape.

i have belonged to a gym since april of 2005 was supposed to fight in ringside world championships that year but broke a few bones

My first bout ever was in the Junior Olympics 125lb novice class, I was 14 years old. Stopped the kid in about 45 seconds. So yes, you can have your first bout in a tournamet.
