Why is everyone so obsessed with Marciano's records when there are tons of other people that have had more impressive scores than Marciano that were not heavyweights?

For example... Julio Ceasar Chavez... 89-0 before his first loss.

Valuev's 45-0 record is probably better than Chavez's 45-0 record, and Yori Campas.

Marciano's record is not that impressive compared to Ali's, just look at who they fought and when and you will see what I am talking about.

I think most people are refering to the undefeated scores of boxers... They don't even take into consideration the people they have fought. Thats why I mentioned JCC because he is a good example. I would definitely say Ali has a better resume than Marciano.

Valuev will not hit 50-0 facing top quality guys at all. Although...it is hard to imagine anyone that can break that guy's gargantuan head. There were actually a couple of times throughout the Barrett fight that I thought Barrett broke his hand after hitting Valuev. This guy barely moves when getting hit so its like boxing a concrete wall.
