Question For Any BoxingScene Tyson Fans

Why would the promoters put Tyson in against a guy who is 6'6 360 pounds? Any other Tyson fans here that are worried that he could get beat up again even though this is an exhibition? Last time Tyson was in against a guy that big, he had a tough time against McBride. I just read how big Sanders is and I was thinking about this. I hope Tyson is able to go the four rounds. Like I said, I know its an exhibition but its still going to be a fight...

.....You know I'm a huge Tyson fan so I just had to comment. It makes no sense to me. He has had all sorts of problems with big guys. I guess they figure because he used to beat him up in sparring he should be alright. I still say it's a mistake and another chance for Tyson to be further embarrased.

Exactly, I think its wrong too. They should have put him with a guy his size. This is only happening for two reasons entertainment and money. So give the fans what they want, an early Tyson knockout. I don't think Tyson can KO a guy who is 360 pounds and 6'6 at this point in his career. You never know, its not going to be easy thats for sure.

Sanders is big, but Tyson has knocked this guy out in sparring before, so there is little danger. It's an exhibition and Sanders knows that Tyson is the boss, he won't do anything ******. This is going to be a glorified sparring session really, Tyson is going to be set up to look like a star from the opening bell. Sanders mindset is that of a sparring partner, his desire to win is no longer there.

I'm a Tyson fan but not a fan of his current affairs.

I prefer to remember him as the hero-figure he was for me 20 years ago.

Yeah. Your probably right. Sanders will probably be told that this fight is only for entertainment so don't fight like your fighting Tyson for the championship in 1986.lol

I have the feeling that they are trying to prepare him for a potential Klitschko fight.

If Tyson goes thru the whole tourny 4-0, who knows what he will do next.
If he feels good about himself, he may try a comeback. Hard to tell.
Tyson is hard to read these days. Know what I mean?
