seriously. This guy was getting nailed by barett a lot last night. much more then i expected. He has a horrible defense.

He is also slow as hell.

BUT he seems to have very good accuracy and stamina AND he has pretty good power.

When he faces a guy like SAM PETER, ur gonna see a very exciting fight with both fighters hitting and getting hit. IT wouldnt be sloppy like the barrett fight because peter wouldnt have to punch up as much, and peter has more power so he wont be holding on as much.

    what do u think?

i still think that when u go to a valuev fight, u go to see a spectacle and not a battle. but down the line i think we could be given a treat

Agreed. Wlad-Valuev and Peter-Valuev would be huge spectlaces/ fights, and could turn into exciting fights.

no doubt about it. I'd love to see him vs Peter. I have a feeling he can beat sam peter...Wlad would probably school him, then again if V lands even a flush jab maybe it would wobble klit enough to go into recovery mode and give Valuev bloodthirst to maybe finish him off. Then again Wlad is working with Steward and they're really a great team, so I can definately see Emmanuel pulling some type of master plan out of his ass and Wlad following it to-the-T for a ud win.

If you were Valuev's manager, would you agree to the match with Sam Peter?

its a good question. but if peter still has belts after he fights toney again (??? or maskaev?) then i would say yes. Becuase it IS a winable fight and it IS a meaningful and important fight.

so i would say yes but it is also a very loseable fight

valuev is much more technical than peter. he has better stamina as well from what I can see, his style is far more evolved...and valuev's best tool, a big jab, is exactly what nullifies peter's best tool, a looping shot. peter has a decent cross, but I think if valuev nailed him he'd instinctively start trying to land his sunday punch- which as aforementioned is a looping shot- something valuev could, should, and would land the jab on as peter is steppin in with it.

Well, of course, the unification fight would likely be a big draw and a big moneymaker. Any time there is big money involved big risks will be taken. Anything short of that, you can expect to see his handlers feeding Valuev every tomato they can find.

I totally agree if he can come in at around 290-300 he would be able to get his punches off better. Valuev did very well keeping his punches clean and straight he did not use the uppercut enough he needs to get that punch down if he has anychance agienst the champs especialy sergi
