Can Casamayor go all the way?

Currently he holds the WBC Lightweight Title.

I think he is much more talented chan Jesus Chavez.

He has the experience edge over Juan Diaz, however Diaz IS like a bull in that ring. Powerless, yes...but still a bull.

    Actually, they both are.

But it is hard for me to imagine that Chavez and Diaz would present Casamayor with anything more destructive than what Freitas, Castillo and Corrales gave him.

The hardest shot I had ever seen Casamayor take was in the first fight with Corrales when he was knocked down. He handled Castillo well enough to convince some, including myself that he may have won the fight.

I really think that even at 35, he can do it. Slick enough to not get battered in the ring and tough enough to take the hardest shots and never give up.

Casamayor can become Undisputed Lightweight Champion of the World.

Personally, I don't think the titles will be unified any time soon. For that to occur, Casamayor (Who I believe is with Warrior's Boxing) would have to cooperate with Golden Boy and Gary Shaw, and frankly the demand isn't there for any of these guys to fight each other. I think Casamayor will hang onto the title for as long as he can and milk a few 100 grand out of it. But as far as future prospects and ambition, I think Casamayor is content.

Werd, I forgot about Diaz also. Diaz is the only guy I think who can unify the titles at this point. But whether or not he's down for that is another story.
