Most people who ridicule Valuev for his size are just envious of it. Seriously, how cool would it be to be able to just pick someone up overhead with one hand and chuck them into a wall or electric fence like in a movie? I bet Valuev could do it to most people on this forum. I mean he seems like a nice guy so probably not the electric fence, but he'd probably throw you into a padded wall if you pissed him off enough.

Did he KO him? I recall him just slapping him around a little, not really injuring him seriously.

He wasn't KO'd for several minutes. He was down and groggy. Still, slapping hitting or even expelling giant farts on the old man is not cool.

I told the scientists not to thaw out that caveman. But they wouldn't listen.

I know you werent directing that at me but I wanted to comment that I dont ridicule him for his size, I ridicule him for his lack of ability as a boxer....strength never supercedes talent....

A circus act is not really good for any sport, but it does gain fans who would otherwise not be interested, so in a way it's a ''Double-edged sword''.
It's pretty obvious that King will milk him for what he's worth, and when he fights a top heavyweight he'll be exposed. He's struggled already with Donald and Ruiz, although in fairness Ruiz would have to be classed as a top heavyweight.

Ruiz has had more success at heavyweight than anyone post Lewis except for perhaps Vitali Klitschko. He was one of the best heavyweights in the last few years, as boring as he was to watch. We can talk about his weaknesses all we want but the fact is he continued to fight and win against top heavyweights.
