Corrales needs to ditch Goosen.....

Goosen kept telling Chico he was winning easily when he was not, and gave him useless advice. Chico needs a trainer like Roach or Mcgirt. They specialize in hard hitters and brawlers. Goosen, on the other hand was supposed to give Chico more boxing technique and defense, but it doesn't seem to work. If chico had better defense, and more angles to work with, he would be unstoppable.

How about Nacho Berstein, that'd be crazy! I've always thought about how would Berstein train an American fighter, and see how he can improve them, he's is one of boxings great trainers.

Goosen is a great trainer for chico. Mcgirt would suck for chico. Hed have him fighting with his left at his waist like he had gatti doing against mayweather.

I think Floyd senior or uncle Roger will be great for Chico. I think the Mayweather's are the best trainers today.

i agree goosen has done wonders for corrales ...i also feel he is a better trainer than mcgirt who i feel is the most overrated trainer in the sport..he is also better than roach ..

That was Viloria's fault. Roach kept telling him that he needed to let his hands go and win rounds but Viloria decided to do nothing.


I think Corrales should stay with Goosen. Without Goosen, I don't think Corrales would be much of a factor at this point in his career.
