    Darchinyan vs Donaire

    Who watched this fight ?
    I didnt.

I read that Donaire could not continue after the 6th round due to a broken jaw. I read it was either from a headbutt, elbow and "NOT" a punch. Someone give the low down on this fight. Darchinyan was well on his way to KO'ing this guy.

It should've been a TKO for Vic, the ref made a bad call with the headbutt, because I didn't see any headbutt!

he was destroying the guy, and the medical stoppage was BS he broke that mango eaters jaw w/his fists not a headbutt! But he (Vic) dominated the whole fight! I wasnt that sold on Darchenyan, but I think now, that he would beat Arce. I did a 180 degree, i mean i still like Arce, but this dude would KO Arce easy I think

Im still not sold on vic, so much hype and his power is not what i keep reading it is. He hit Donaire with bombs, and not had the ko effect. He doesn't seem to have the same power where he throws fast straigh punchs, and all his power comes from throwing bombs, which is probably why he fights like he does and basicly only throws bombs. He is easy to hit, but he does have fast hands. Seems to take a fair punch but i did notice that he might have gotten stunned twice but he knows how to hide it from his opponet. But i do belive it would be a war if he and Arce fought, i just don't think he really wants to fights Arce, i think his fans are hyping this fight more so then Vic. Cause tonight Vic didnt even mention Arce's name and neither did the Showtime commentaters. But could also be that Marquez is a Showtime fighter and Arce is a HBO fight but Marquez would be too much for Vic. And him and Arce would back up good but Arce would be too much. I can easily see Arce back up Vic, and smoother all of Vics punchs. Vic needs room to punch, Arce wouldn't give him no room. Arce would win this, but would be a good fight too bad Vic didn't call out Arce.

I thought Donaire should've jabbed more. It seemed as if he didn't even jab once in the whole fight. The way Darchinyan keeps his hands all the way down all the time, I think someone with a quick jab and good defence could dominate Darchinyan. Laugh if you want but re-watch the fight and think of someone with a good quick jab fighting Vic. I think Vic is powerful, but not that talented and has only really been fighting bums, or people who you've never heard of twice. I think Arce and Marquez would beat him easily. He has yet to face the fury of a real Mexican.

i was thinking similar during the fight, but i realised that vic is more defensive than people think.........his defence is his speed and ability to read the oppoent's offence!!!...i was impressed that vic knew at exactly which range to stay away from the jab and even moved when the jab was thrown!!

I know. It seemed like Donaire just kept trying to land one big punch. Did you see him leading in with the right hand? Thats pretty unproffesional. Every left that Vic threw landed. Even if Donaire's jaw was broken, which was from Vic's power punches, he quit. He knew he had no chance to win and didn't want to endure another six rounds of senseless hell.

Donaire bitched out, there was no headbutt, the alleged broken jam was clearly from a punch. And then that little **** has the nerve to say "nah he doesn't punch hard, i thought he would but he's got nothing". Go **** yourself!!!
