Corrales contemplating retirement

Corrales doesn't have the chin to move up in weight really, all the 140 pound champions (including Hatton, still the lineal champ) have the dig to seriously hurt him. Hatton would give him a mauling, Witter and M'Baye would probably pick him off patiently, Urango might be vulnerable but has a lot of dig and a so far solid chin, Cotto would destroy him.
The choice for Corrales is retirement or being an also ran at a higher weight (he'd still be able to make some good money that way though).Comment

I don;t think that he has a good shot at 147 but retire, I don't know.
If you thought that the Castillo fight was great, Imagine a GATTI V Corrales fight at 147.
That could be the greatest fight ever.Comment

Thats why I stated in that thread last week.......he better be planning on what he is going to do in the ring with Casamayor before he starts planning his 07 schedule and look what happened.Corrales=SelfI'm surprised no one has brought this up. When Jim Gray asked Corrales "What's next?" Corrales responded "This might be it for me."
I have talked **** about Corrales in the last 24 hours but if he retires then it is a very well deserved retirement after the last two years of his career.
