If you knew what it took to play american football, and if you ever went out on the field and took the hits, read the playbook etc. You wouldnt be saying any of that and you would realize the pads are there so you dont die on the field. In american football there is contact every play, rugby/soccer do not have intense contact every play involving everyone even off the ball. Thats why they have pads, if they didint, people would be dead/dying on the field.

Third of all I like it. To play not watch

Fourth of all my post was there to defend football. The world type not the "american" one.

Do you know how big a "Playbook" is, and how much a QB has to know at the Pro level?

I see soccer games where they fall on the ground screaming like little girls, get a spray can and fix the problem, WTF is with that?


I don't "laugh" at soccer, I laugh at the comparison to "American Football"

I know Two guys that played Pro Soccer overseas, Greece, and Germany, they both are huge fans of "American Football" and don't even compare the brutality because it is not needed.

Now with all the HEAVY equipment in both grid iron and hockey they hit living **** out of each other.

And all that HEAVY equipment takes a big toll on your body. More harm then good.

I say lessen the equipment load. Then you will see who is really tough, who has the balls to go in and try to brake bone with 1inch worth of gel padding.

Not go out there with 10kilos of equipment trying to kill the guy cause its only on the second day that you'll feel the pain.
