"Now he knows what I felt when I didn't make the weight," said Jose Luis Castillo told ********* today in regard to his arch rival Diego Corrales not making the 135lb limit for tonight's WBC lightweight championship fight in Las Vegas. Castillo is uniquely qualified to comment on the situation as he was not able to make the weight for an aborted rubber match with Corrales in June. "They [Team Corrales] said that I was not a professional. This proves that a body shuts down on anyone. Boxing is tough enough, but when you are accused of not wanting to make weight, it's not because of you. It's because of your body shutting down. I feel for Diego, because it's something you think will never happen to you. But when it does, it is very embarrassing, especially before a big fight." -
He should be classy right now, because he got a HUGE fight CANCELLED and weighed to much for their 2nd fight as well. he has no right to talk **** at allComment

Chico and his people should of let the fight go up one weight division like Castillo wanted originally, but NO, they wanted the advantage...I am glad it happened to Chico, now he knows.
I want to see fights where fighters don't have "kill themselves" to make weight...I want to see two "healthy" fighters walk into the ring.
This is why I brought up Pac vs Morales the other day in one of my replys, Pac should allow the fight to be one weight division up for the sake of Eric's health, but NO, they refused, saying they would not allow a fight to happen.
****ing *****...Now, Eric could have just not fought/fight the fight, but we know boxers go after the money, it is hard to say "no" to millions.Comment
