    Corrales 145.5, Casamayor 144.5!

The final obstacle has been eliminated and Diego “Chico” Corrales will definitely face arch nemesis Joel “El Cepillo” Casamayor tonight during SHOWTIME's free preview weekend. After Corrales failed to make the weight last night, it was agreed that both fighters would have a noon weigh-in today with neither fighter allowed to exceed 147 pounds. Corrales weighed 145.5 pounds, while Casamayor scaled in at 144.5 pounds. In addition flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan weighed 121 pounds and Glenn Donaire was 117 pounds for their world title clash in the opener.

    Now what Castillo fans?

what the **** are you talking about?
2nd fight Corrales was not weighed in again, he was allowed to recover.
while Castillo had to limit himself.if anything they are making it fair for Corrales.

        How do you figure?

Casamayor's never had a problem with the weight and was on pace two weeks ago.

I don't think he was drained to make weight at all. He probably won't be more than 148 tonight, were as Corrales will no doubt hydrate up into the high 150's at least.

Casamayor has no trouble making 135 so how do you think that he is drained?

Don't try to make it sound like Corrales is off the hook now. If that was the case then Castillo should be off the hook because he weighed in the next day at the agreed 147 limit in the rematch.

thats why i said "AT LEAST" equally drained. but i agree, i now think that casamayor is the ONLY person with the advantage. corrales no longer has the power advantage.

its back to being the great fight is was gonna be.

Do we all agree on that???

he was basically off the hook for that fight.

but when he did it again, that was to much. thats when his weight problem got waaaay out of hand.

What corrales did was VERY wrong, thats not what im saying, but he no longer had that big advantage that he had yesterday. I thought he would gain more weight, but he didnt.

He still has an advantage, but it is now almost meaningless seeing how he was already a powerpuncher
