    Tons of respect to Casamayor

You got to respect Casamayor for taking this fight, after seeing what happened in the second Castillo-Corrales, I wouldn't blame him for turning it down.

He has a lot more to gain that Corrales.....
I can't believe Diego didn't make the weight

I have always respected him anyway......he is a solid fighter and has only lost narrowly to the best out there.

Casamayor needs the bread anyways, he would have fought him even if Corrales came in 10 lbs over

gotta have respect. i kinda wish the fight was called off. if corrales wins, theres gonna be a ton of justified execuses goin around. but if he loses, everyone is just gonna think that he sucks AND he had the advantage (which wont be a HUGE advantage to begin with)

its not that type of fight. its gonna be an outside boxing match. corrales was already a huge powerpuncher, any shots he lands big, he would have landed without the weight advantage. its still a sizable advantage though

and now casamayor has a big mental advantage IMO.

as sick as i am with corrales not makin weight, u gotta admit, it kinda makes the fight more interesting doesnt it?

sarcasism or not? i cant tell...

but seriously. the big picture is a lot more interesting now. The whole castillo-corrales III thing, and both casa and chico have new big advantages.

for me, the fight got more interesting. just not as excited for it i guess...

tbh i believe its no great surprise that casamayor has taken the fight look at hes situation.
hes 35 and in the middle of the twilight of hes carear.
hasnt had a big payday since the castillo fight in 2004
the highest hes ranked by any orgonisation is 7th so its gonna take at least 2 years to become a mandatory to ne belt.
corrales is the only big payday left in the division that will give him a fight
