VIC started training in Armenia.

He represented Armenia in the 2000 Sidney Olympics in Australia.

He did well, although no medal.

Jeff Fenech was impressed with him, told him to stay in Australia and he would make him a World Champ.

VIC stayed, Fenech lived up to his words.
