Horrible person, one of the most gifted fighters in a long time.

Though his natural gifts only got him so far, he was capable of much more.

Nah he's not a piece of ****. He may not be the best but he's got some serious fighting skills.

My only problem with the guy is that his HYPING overshadowed his fighting reputation. He's like a ****i'n walking circus. And that spell his doom in the ring. After his loss to MAB he never got to recover. So he quit.

I think he set himself up to be humiliated.
IMO He made each fight into a personal situation, as if it wasnt enough to just beat his opponent. He had to make them look bad, and humiliate them.

He didnt seem to understand that it was a boxing match between professional athletes. He felt the need to entertain people at the expense of his opponent.

And i think part of wat happened to him was that wen he started getting hit he felt embarrased. He felt he looked ****** being caught with punches. He couldnt live up to his own bragging bull****.
Plus in America the crowd didnt like him and cheered wen he was hit, which he hated.
Wen MAB beat him i think he realised all the **** he had said for all those years turned people against him. And he had become an entertainer first and a boxer second.
After the defeat he knew he wasnt as popular as he once was, plus his skill wasnt as good as wen he was youger, plus he was extremely rich.

He could never live up to his own hype. And after years of making his opponents look ******, he actually made himself look like a big fool.
Even after the MAB fight he said "Great fighters come back and beat great fighters (MAB)". And he never did that.

I think Kelly would also of given Hamed a very tough rematch.

he beat nobodies and fringe contenders, all the while looking like a dork while fighting and he was handily defeated when he fought a real opponent in MAB.

No. He was out of this world in his early career, and beat lots of proved world-class fighters before he even fought for a world title.

Steve Robinson, Manuel Medina, Tom Johnson, Kevin Kelley, Wilfredo Vasquez (WBA champion), Wayne McCullough, Paul Ingle, Cesar Soto, Vuyani Bungu (his last 14 fights were world title wins), Augie Sanchez (beat Floyd Mayweather in the amateurs)..

It's not like he didn't fight anybody.

who, who, who, who, who, and who again?

just naming random fighters off his resume doesnt prove they were any good or they were the best or whatever.

hamed was ****, not THE ****. ur not convincing anyone.
