Kessler will take this, and big. He has a sort of Tomasz Adamek style, with the arm punches coming with fluid motion that serves as a defense. Marcus Beyer has faded signicantly over the last 2 years, his time is up. Kessler should search for the KO cuz the last thing we want to see from him is another tedious fight ala Eric Lucas.

Agreed. Kessler also has a very accurate straight jab that sets up his powerful right. Didn't he tore Lucas' face to shreds with his jabs? Beyer is good, but he's on a slide. This fight should've been made 2 years ago.

Two years ago Beyer was negotiating with Sauerland about a new contract. His last one according to Beyer and it will run out in 2007. So at that time the value of Beyer would drop a lot if he lost his belt and wouldn't be able to get it back. But now that he is near the end of his last contract a big fight for a lot of money is easier to make since there is less (or nothing) to lose if Beyer doesn't win.

By the way there was also some report in the danish media that Beyer was a bit pissed that he felt that he had moved down the ladder at Sauerland behind Abraham and Valuev.
