I saw the greatest round of boxing in my dreams last night. Miguel Cotto was fighting Jose Luis Castillo on the TV, so I stopped on the channel and dug into y sofa. Round 1 went as expected, felt each other out and traded some body hooks. But it was in round 2 that I saw the greatest round. They came out jabbing and moving in the center. THEN WHAM! Castillo landed a left hook to the chin of Cotto (I think that came from the second Corrales fight). I remember waiving bye bye to Cotto as I thought his chin was finally exploited. But amazingly he got up. Castillo moves in for the kill and has him in the corner, throwing upstairs and down, then they start hooking and WHAM! Cotto lands a quick left on the jaw in the middle of an exchange and down goes Castillo. He takes his time getting up, and I'm like damn, another Corrales fight. Cotto waste no time in going for the kill. They begin exchanging again, nonstop action, and before you know, Castillo landed another big hook and down goes Cotto for the second time in the round. I'm losing my ****ing mind! Cotto beats the count and Castillo creeps in to finish the fight, right. Wrong. Cotto tucks himself into the corner and awaits Castillo coming in. He lunges in, Cotto spins out, and WHAM, Lands a straight right in the face of Castillo. As he crumbles to the canvas, blood is pouring out of his nose. I thought ****, fight over, but Castillo again beats the count. Meanwhile, over in the neutral corner, I can see Cotto furiously shaking his right hand and talking to his corner. The corner steps onto the mat and stops the fight as Cotto has injured his hand. Best action I ave ever soon, real or not. Any similar cases out there?

I don't think anyone will ever make Castillo hit the canvas.... And the fight would not go like that. Cotto will not make the same mistake he did in the Torres fight and trade with Castillo.Comment

Casamayor "I dominated Castillo the first eight, nine rounds. I clearly won"
All Cotto needs is his jab, knock out before the 5th. Cottos jab is equal to a Corrales hook..Comment

that's ****ing absurd and completely unfounded. Corrales hits as hard or harder than Cotto at 140-147, I guarantee it.Comment
