Ok. You've got a point there. But still. Maybe Nig was a tad jealous of the money Naz made. In any case, I prefer Naz for making more fights in America as opposed to say Nigel who had less fights in America (in comparison the Naz). But anyway, thats a different discussion point.

Benn would of crossed the Atlantic to fight Toney and Jones in a heartbeat, he wanted those fights but was signed to King and Showtime while Toney and Jones were signed to Arum and HBO. He might not of beaten Toney or Jones but he'd of been more than willing to have a go at them and throw some leather.

Benn fought Eubank, Watson, Collins, Barkley, McClellan, DeWitt, Sims.. ****ing knocked down DeWitt (who went the distance with Hearns) for the first time in his life and knocked down Sims (Hagler's half-brother) for the first time in his life, prevailed against Barkley and McClellan when the British press said he'd be killed, etc. The most popular British fighter ever, and almost every fight was a war!

Naz spoke a good fighter but at the end of the day didn't back it up..

You don't go overseas to win world titles on 'search and destroy' missions and defend them against Iran Barkley and Gerald McClellan for wankers like medium-**** to diss you.

              Bingo.

I dont care about who fought in America the most. Means nothing to me.
Benn admitted to thinking RJJ was amazing, and it was the only fighter to put fear into him. He wanted that fight badly, saying it would be his lat fight, but then was beaten by Sugar Boy Malinga.

Whereas Naz spoke about wanting a rematch with Kelly and Barerra, and look wat he did......****all.
He sat on his mountain of cash and ended up acting like a flash git almost killing someone.

When Benn was living in LA he went to the gym where Toney trained, six weeks before the Jones fight, and shouted "Come on you fat bastard, let's do a few rounds. I'll get you in shape!" and James just told his entourage to get Benn out and Nigel was told in no uncertain terms that he'd be shot if he showed again. Benn wanted to spar with Toney, said he'd be back when James was ready but James apparently didn't want to know.

And Benn had turned up at the post-fight press conference after the Prince Charles Williams fight only to find that security had been informed not to let him in..

Benn said he'd fight Toney in the parking lot (we Brits call it the "car park" though) and love every second of it. He also said in '93 when he was living in Britain that he was willing to swim across the Atlantic to fight him, after Toney had reportedly said "Nigel Benn's Momma is the Loch Ness Monster!".
