Somehow I can't see Margarito fighting Clottey, Williams and Cotto all in a 7 month span.

If Cotto beats Quintana and Urkal and Margarito beats Clottey and then loses to Williams, which Cotto fight Williams? I like that fight, but I dont think it is good for a fight at Madison Square Garden. If Cintron beats Suarez, I would rather see Cotto-Cintron at Madison Square Garden. Then maybe he can take on Williams after that. But I strongly feel Margarito WILL beat Williams so no need to worry about that. If Cotto can get by Quintana, Urkal, then Margarito, I think people wont be able to deny that he is a great fighter anymore. Then maybe after he beats Margarito he can fight the winner of Cintron/Suarez. At that point he could possibly be 31-0 and have plenty of experience against welterweights and tough fighters...so bring on Mayweather. Hatton will probably still be running at the time.

Cotto also said in an interview that he would beat Mayweather if they put him in front of him.

Cotto fights Quintana now on Dec 2nd, Urkal in March, and then Margarito (if every goes as plan) on June at MSG...If both Cotto and Margarito wins their respective bouts on December and they dont get badly hurt in the process, there should be no problem with that schedule...

Think about it, if they don't do it like this, Bob will be forced to put Urkal against Cotto at the MSG....Unless Urkal takes step aside money yet again..

It's possible, and looks like it could make sense on paper, but it's still 3 fights in 7 months.

Don't see it happening that way.

Margarito beating Clottey and Williams is not a given. Neither is Cotto beating Quintana. Arum has been talking about putting Margarito in with a number of people over the last couple of years and we're still waiting...
