Will Taylor K.O Ouma?

finally an easier fight for jermain. am hoping to see jermain settle down and show improved boxing skills. even tho jermain could walk thru ouma i want to see a less anxious more skilled taylor. against winky taylor seemed slow witted and wasnt listening to manny.wondering if he has enough upstairs .

Is there any reason to believe that Wright hits harder than Ouma? Is there any reason to believe that Ouma's chin is softer than Wrights? Taylor backed off when Wright came after him. Ouma has an attacking style so there is a good reason to assume that Taylor will back off when Ouma comes out swinging. My guess is the fight against Ouma will be a carbon-copy of what we saw against Wright.

Taylor will stop him not because Ouma is done but because Ouma is going down too much. Ouma will get dropped a couple times and the ref will wave it off even though he'll be willing and able to continue.

i'm thinking along the lines that taylor has been under so much pressure from fighting the best in consecutive fights that he'll have room to expand and settle down in this one.ouma doesnt have winkys brains or jab. and if he goes toe to toe taylor takes over imo.

He went on record and said that it was important that he wins by knockout for his fans. Ouma throws a lot of punches, which leaves him open. Against Powell he took some tough shots, but he kept coming. I think Taylor will get him around the 9th. How about the rest of you?

Taylor will destroy him much sooner than the 9rd round.....i'm think between 3 & 5.....

Dont just count fighters out = ) Though I think Taylor will win by TKO in 7th. Ouma is good but not on par with Hop / Wright and Taylor managed those fights.

Absolutely. I like Ouma, but the guy has little to no defense. Taylor will put him on his back inside of 6.

i absolutely LOVE all these people on here with the almost ignorant comments about this fight... i'm amazed so many people think this will be a cake-walk for Jermain... it's shocking to say the least.

So shocking i'm almost tempted to keep a tally of names (many here), then scold them right after this fight and make them write "I will learn about a broader number of boxers." on a chalkboard a million times.. because in no way is this an easy fight for Jermain Taylor.


I will say this. Ouma is suseptible (spelling?) to knockdowns. And i can see Taylor possibly knocking Ouma down maybe once or even twice during the bout, but i would never put any money on Taylor "knocking him out", which so many of you are 100% sure will be the case.

This is going to be a very close fight, IMO. Ouma is a smart, pressure fighter to can be very irritating to opponents at times.
