Nice to see such a close date seeing as fighters seem to be fighting every 6-8months these days.

Yeah maybe we will get some judges who understand the difference bewteen a clean targeted punch and hitting someone in the back of the head.

How did you guys score the bout? I had Toney 116-111.

If you look at the fact that Peters mouth was busted and his nose was bleeding, and Toney looked like he never even got hit.

Granted, Toney did take some shots, and the one that actually stunned him when he had to hold the rope.

I think if Peter keeps neglecting to develop any skills, he is going to get laid out by a hard accurate puncher.

Wlad almost did it to him at the end of their fight.

....After the first fight I would say that Peter is going to be in trouble in this one unless he totally goes for broke.

              better judges

I thought Toney won. The scoring was awful, if Peter won it was by the slimmest of margins. No way was it 116-111. Which is one the socrecards I believe..

Peter will have to prove once again that he beat Peter. Boxing is very corupt. Peter has to fight his ass off to get a title shot while Toney gets them title shots every other fight. What a disgrace.

I think I read in an interview that Toney was discussing getting a special conditioning trainer for this rematch. If that's the case, I think he'll do much better and he can get a clear-cut win. The short layoff also helps in a way, because it won't give him time to become massively obese before he starts training again. Of course, this benefits Peter in the same way.
