Definitely. He still has a long way to go though, especially since he is so eloquent in spanish. But it'll come eventually, and he has progressed greatly. I still kinda would've preferred it in spanish though, he is very verbose.Comment

He could always speak it somewhat however he never felt comfortable enough to speak english during an interview. I think that he has recently felt comfortable enough with english to do interviews.
However if you look at past interviews you will see that he has often used a translator only for what his responses. Cotto has for a long time now not needed a translator to understand the questions.Comment
