He looked like he wanted to cry/quit for most of the fight after the 5th round. He just looked so preocupied with surviving that it was evident that he did not really want to continue. He did so because he did not want to quit but it looked like he was begging his corner/ref/doc to stop the fight just by way of his body language.

You can tell when someone does not want to go on and he looked like the paradigm case.
