as a frequent visitor yet limited poster to your site let me add something to the discussion. as a referree i cannot say i have ever worked a john scully bout but i have been present at many of his amateur day fights and his performance at the 1988 national golden gloves was one of the better i have seen and coming out of the week long event john scully was as highly thought of in terms of performance and talent and skill as anyone that week and this included roy L. jones and his conqeror mcclellan. iceman your performance against lamar parks was one of the most impressive displays of boxing skill in an amateur bout as I have ever witnessed. parks was a vaunted bomber even back then and ice john tamed him with a skill level that was matched by just a few , especially in the mid classes. that's all. carry on.
