I don't think he hit harder than Benn, but he had his S.A.T (speed, accuracy, timing).

    Jackson's KO's were beautiful, Benn's were ugly.

Championship competition could take Benns punches. (although not many)

      Whatever Jackson hit, he destroyed.

Benn didn't hit as hard when he left Lynch after the Watson fight (lost speed and power), but he still hit harder enough to knock Doug DeWitt's head from one side of the ring to the other and split Eubank's gumshield in half - with one punch each. And at 168 Benn lost more speed and power, and was hitting guys who weighed 13 stone while he was really just a small MW blown-up because Eubank moved up.

jackson is top 5 atleast. very underrated, and one of the most devastating hitters i've ever seen in the sport.

The best Jr Middles I have ever seen are Mike McCallum and Thomas Hearns. Both were complete fighters at that weight. Julio Cesar Vazquez was also a very good Jr Middle during the 90's.

Jackson was kill or be killed...his power was unreal.

His KO's over Norris & Herol Graham were just plain devasting. I've never seen a boxer put so many fighters to sleep literally before they hit the canvas.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I've not seen a middleweight hit as hard as Benn.

Jackson was the better KO artist, though.
