Am I the only one thinking that people are going a little nutty lately with the Paul Williams love?I mean his only notable opponent was a shot Sharmba Mitchell.I admit he looked great in beating the bag out of him.But just because Sharmba wasn't able to get inside on him,doesn't mean guys like Mayweather,Mosley,ETC won't be able to either.BTW,no disrespect to Williams fans or anything!I can see your point!The man's physical attributes could mean greatness from him down the line.I just think we should wait to see him in the ring with someone fresher than Mitchell before we go too overboard.

Some of use have been following Williams for sometime. Long before his bout with Mitchell.

Williams has huge potential,big guy,good chin,good power etc
he looks real good but he needs to step it up, which he would have if Tony wasnt having them nightmares from their sparring sessions still

If I heard correctly after Williams threw a good body shot on Marg, Marg floored him. I'm not talking a slip or a push, I mean a legit knockdown. People tend to leave that part out. I agree with you though I would have liked to see that fight. I don't know if it is true but supposedly Williams was asking for too much money. I would have liked to see that fight.Comment

I'm not disagreeing with you, but just as Floyd saif that Marg hadn't fought anyone, the same goes for Williams. I don't think him beating old Sharmba Mitchell quite makes him legit. Like I said I hear they were asking for too much money. Iam not defending Marg because I don't think by him not taking this fight hurt him more than it helped his caes. I'm just saying like someone said earlier, I think people are starting to jump on the Williams band wagon a little too ealry. I mean he looks good and seems to have all the makings of a really good fighter, but I want to see him do it against better competition. I will give it to him and say thats what he was trying to do against Marg but at the same time he can't expect to make really big money quite yet based on the fact that he hasn't really proved much yet.Comment

I think they will fight each other and should. If they both win there will probably be talks of a fight. I haven't seen Williams much, but man he whooped Mithcell's ass.Comment

You gotta understand Williams could defintly be the future and people are goin to cling on him now rather then later when he does stepin with that top COMP and may not far as well, i personally am a fan and have clinged on and am hopeing for the best! PBF v The Punisher late 07 or early 08Comment
