I don't think Barrett is slick enough to beat the giant.

But, Larry Donald took Valuev to school and beat him clearly. With that said, someone on Barrett's level has a chance.

That is a good point. Ruiz beat Valuev cleary imo as well.

He does have a chance, and probably will win most of the rounds, but the problem for him will be his stamina, chin, and maybe his will power. Im not so sure Barret wants it all that badly. But I believe he at least has the SKILL to win.

barrett is getting this completely undeserved title shot because he is don kings little ***** boy. he played a long and lost to rahman on purpose so that king could get the title fight for hasim. this fight is barrett reward for being nothing more than a fall guy.

and just as in the case of the rahman fight, barrett will only be there to lose and make valuev look good. barrett knows his role, he will get himself knocked out to insure that don king brings him a couple more money fights before its all over.

If Barrett is in good shape and focused he can and maybe will beat Valuev. Or at least in our eyes. The judges seem to be Valuev friendly and I don't think that will change now in the US with Don King behing him against a fighter who isn't that popular in Barrett.
