All Arce did......after the last fight.......was ask H.B.O. to give him an opponent. He stated that he'd get metal implants in order to make weight if he had to fight anyone on earth.

Also cant forget his fight againts Carbajal, was that not a step up for him? that was years ago, theres no shame in losing against a legend like Carbajal either...

Agree on Paul Williams as well - for the amount of hype he's getting his best opponent was an over-the-hill junior welter & his last bout was an over-the-hill lightweight.

I think that Jermain Taylor needs to step up and fight fighters in his weight. I think that not being able to crush little guys moving up is really hurting his standing with peolple that know boxing. JCC jr is a fighter that i'm still not sold on .

what other fighters do you think need to step the level of compatition?

Julio Cesar Chavez, he's like 30-0. Of course, most are hand picked, but fighting Arturo Gatti can really test him. Another is Amir Kahn. Maybe too soon, too early...but it will certainly answer "a few" questions...like perhaps having a chin check. I think both are exciting to watch, but if you know the other guy doesn't stand a chance, then it just doesn't make it that interesting...like Miguel Cotto/Zab Judha! That is a huge step up for Cotto, and Zab is a 50/50 chance of beating Cotto. BTW, Cotto TKO 9th!
