Floyd Mayweather got the same reaction when he skimmed that close decision in the first fight with Castillo.

Look at where he is now, need I say more?

I have been saying this for awhile. He will never compete with the top guys. Let him keep fighting lower tier middle and welter weight guys and making a ton of money. No need to have him step up and get destroyed!

^^practically every top fighter fed on old men, unexperienced fighters, and lower weight guys before finally getting their big breaks...

that is just the way it goes...he could very well be a bust...he could very well be the real deal down the line...

Floyd Mayweather was the best fighter in the world at the time he fought Castillo, he dominated at 130 with 9 or 10 straight championship wins, beating guys like Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, Angel Manfredy, Carlos Hernandez etc...You can't compare the two, John Duddy has fought no one and he's not even a champion yet.

BTW Floyd beat Castillo fair and aquare both times.

Yes you need to say more. That made no sense at all. Castillo was the best lightweight when Mayweather fought him, and Mayweather had already beat an undefeated Diego Corrales, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Genaro Hernandez, and Angel Manfredy. Floyd had already won a world title and was moving up in weight going after another one. Castillo also wasnt some old washed up fighter way past his prime and fighting above his natural weight. Sorry but that statement you made didnt really make sense.

I feel sorry for some of these fighters, because they're not the ones hyping themselves, it's the fans, boxing writers etc that are doing it, but ultimately it's the fighters themselves that feel the heat after a bad performance. This happens in most sports.
